简介：Major new Steven Moffat drama Inside Man has unveiled its stellar cast, set to debut on BBC One and Netflix. The project will star David Tennant (Des; Staged; Doctor Who), Dolly Wells (The Pursuit Of Love; Dracula; Can You Ever Forgive Me?), and Lydia West (It’s A Sin; Years And Years; Dracula) alongside Stanley Tucci (Feud; The King’s Man; Spotlight) in the lead role of the titular character. Produced by Hartswood Films for BBC One and Netflix, the series will be directed by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock; Dracula; Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool).
The gripping four-part mini-series follows three seemingly unrelated characters—a death row inmate in the U.S., a quiet English town vicar, and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar—as their lives converge in an unexpected and enthralling manner. Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue, the husband-and-wife creative duo and executive producers at Hartswood Films, have stated: “We’re a bit stunned, and very excited, at the acting talent we’re managing to assemble for this show. Can’t wait to crawl out of our lockdown bunker and get to work.”

The series, a 4x60-minute drama, is created and written by Steven Moffat, directed by Paul McGuigan, and produced by Alex Mercer. Executive producers include Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films and Ben Irving for the BBC, with Chris Sussman overseeing the Netflix partnership. Commissioned by BBC Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore and Piers Wenger, the project is distributed internationally by BBC Studios, which brokered the deal with Netflix. It is scheduled to premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and on Netflix internationally, excluding the UK and Ireland, with filming commencing later this year.
